Now J, don't be second guessing yourself, like I'm doing. I now have less than a month to get mine done and I only have a couple of week ends to do it. I am starting to panic 'cause I still don't know how I want to proceed and still quilt it, Aghhh! Haven't heard from you in a while. Hows things?

Ladies ladies ladies! we dont swap for perfection you know!!

If you do want to improve your points then you can do it by making sure your hst is accurate. it has to be square and the right size. the corners need to be trimmed even so the seam is perfectly in the middle of both fabrics. then when you sew two together make sure your corners stay matched. I tack the corners so they can't move and I tack anywhere seams meet. I measure each time I sew hsts together to make sure I have the correct size after joining them. this helps to make sure your seam allowance doesn't make your points off. It is easy to get the hst crooked when sewing too. I trim a bit when needed.
If you take time to prevent then it pays off in keeping your points.

But that said - the swap is more about having something made by the member who sent it to you!! I don't look for perfect points. I look at the beauty my friend made for me!!!

I am not ready to mail. I haven't started my new wall hanging. I suck. lol.. ok I don't suck but been so busy doing round robins as soon as I catch up another one shows up in the mail. Its like trying to swim to shore but someone has a rope around your waist and your tied to the buoy out in deep water. yikes. and I tied that rope!

I get overwhelmed easily so bear with me I am coming.. I guess my job always gets done and in a timely fashion it just never is done as fast as I Like things to be. sigh..

love those flowers made me smile.. thought uh oh someone has been picking your flowers! sneaking your flowers right off your quilt! what a nice way to start my day .. with a smile.

All quilted, bound and labeled. I'm ready to send. Have it hanging in my sewing room so I can enjoy it for a little while. Cold here today, -3 right now. Think that means sewing and not going anywhere!!
