Quilting Bee: One Block/Month Swap (Please see message from MadeinMaine on page 201)
#2071
My February block from Wichypoo arrived and it's wonderful! And hand-pieced!!! Look at how warm and bright the oranges are :) I love them, and orange is one of my DH's favourite colours, so he's going to be very happy with this quilt when it's done! And she sent some fabulous extra fabric as well. Thanks so much, Karen!
Your block is done and packaged and I'm heading out to the post office this afternoon to mail it. Hopefully it won't be *too* late by the time it gets to you.

Here is the beautiful block I received from Charismah, sorry I am so late at posting it. I LOVE it! THANK YOU!

I received these 2 incredible blocks from brushandthimble. My theme is 1930s fabrics, and brushandthimble certainly went the second mile. I am just so happy and pleased with these 2 beautiful blocks.
The applique block is so wonderful that I am not going to include it in my 1930s sampler quilt. I'm going to frame it because it is so fantastic. It is needle turn at its best.

So many beautiful blocks! I love seeing what everyone is receiving. I'm doing my first paperpiecing for Lillie's block. Did a trial this morning. Need to adjust thread tension and try again. I'll do a couple of practice runs before cutting into the "good" fabric. LOL.
