Ok ladies! I have jumped off the fence and landed splatways! In the 2 month group! Gotta find fabric... it is in the fabric museum somewhere.. my stash is a bit extensive..
So, this weekend I will wash, iron, cut, package, sort, squeeze, fondle, roll around in, (opps, getting carried away..) err.. I will mail the f8s off to Janice. Are we all doubling in the 2 monther? Twice the fun! That would give us 14 blocks to do.

Hey bee! Please hold shipping of fabric to me until next week when I should have a firm tally. I've discovered numbers can change a bit at this point. Thank you!

I have mine washed and dried. It's folded and laying on the ironing board ready to be pressed.

2 month group, I've just sent you all an email. I'm just trying to confirm that everyone is ok with doubling up. I know that Joanelizbay is but everyone else just let me know by email, ok? If I don't hear from you, I will assume you are ok with it until I hear otherwise. Should you wish to make only one block for the group, that's ok, just let me know. Please check your emails! Thanks...

3 month group, I've gotten no comments about any changes yet so at this point, I'd plan for 16 members. If anything changes, I'll let you know.

Thanks, Boomers!

We start now!

Tomorrow I will post new dedicated threads for each group but let's get the f8s ready to go. The 2 month group, new name "Beignet" will need to prepare 12 f8s and the 3 month group, new name "Rosebud" will need to prepare 15 f8s. Please refer to post #1 on how to get them ready. Tomorrow I will send an email to everyone with my mailing address, dates and I'll go over packaging and mailing procedures but for now, pick your fabrics, wash and press them, remove the Selvages and cut into 11x18 inch pieces minimum.

I'm off! Will be offlineost of today but will be back up to full speed tomorrow.

Go, go go Beignet and Rosebud!

I will get mine ready to go this weekend and mail them out on Monday.
This morning i played with a new block. I tried the shooting star and it's pretty easy so far.
I just grabbed some scraps and pieced the first row.
Here's how it turned out.
Oh and yeah me, it measured exactly 12.5 inches long.
