I have also had some trouble with staying on track calorie wise. I go by this for me, because my activity is limited due to my autoimmune disorders. I think I have gained some too, so no batiks for me this round. I am busy in my sewing room though. Good luck everyone. Tomorrow is another day. lol...

    2. Don't drink your calories.
    3. Beware 'healthy' foods that aren't. Just because it says fat-free doesnt mean it won't make you gain. Look at the ingredients - sugar turns into fat!
    4. Wait a minute - actually, wait 20. It takes some time after you've eaten for your brain to get the message that you're full.
    5. Figure out whatyou can do. You'd be amazed at how effective it is to use wter bottles as weights - a lot of work can be done on your knees and back, which forces you to focus on your core.
    6. hang in there - whel life throws something tough at you, don't let it be an excuse not to take care of yourself. Let it be a reminder that you need to focus on yourself.
A lot like the article I copied for last week - some variations. This is the end of our month. Take control. Turn your Tuesday and your Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays into great ones - with lots of weight loss.

another excellent Terrific Tuesday! Thanks, Kathleen

Maybe we needed to post the batiks everyday for our incentive to work hard on our weight.
Loving the fresh veggies from the garden right now. I have decided that I am going to enter the 10 pound zucchini contest at the fair. I have a couple that are at a pound right now, so I figure if I really baby them, feed them every three to four days, snip all the blossoms off each time I see them growning, I should come up with a couple really good sized ones. Will be fun to try. My pumpkins aren't doing real well for some reason. Not sure. I have six plants and only five pumpkins. The start to get them, and the pumkins die. Not sure what is going on. this did happen with my zucchini and I really have to watch it. I had one zucchini plant have six starts and they all shriveled up right away. I need to see what is going on. I picked all of them off last night. Yep, it is my breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Have had a a couple of different casseroles.
Thanks for the terrific Tuesday. Love reading these and keeping it at the top of my mind so I have things to ponder.

maybe I need to post a picture each month and make it my avatar for the month of the monthly pot. I have only lost 3 lbs this month. So I doubt that I will get the batiks. They are so pretty with lots of purple in there.

I'm looking at #5 on Kathleen's list and I can't figure out what kind of work you can do while on your back. I can think of a few leisure activities....
