    Here is my Old Red Barn. I plan to do some quilting on the door and side of the barn to make it stand out. Had a problem with the roof.

    2Doods,

    How did you do the quilts on the side of the barn. How large are the individual little squares? Really great work. I find the small squares difficult to work with.

    That's a beauty, the background fabric is just right, and the roof looks like peeling paint (like so many real barns I see).

    It is a scrap of fabric that is mini quilt blocks. Mini Cheater quilt!
    I just turned under the edge and stitched it on after the barn was built :lol:
