Please forgive my ignorance, being a city girl. What kind of chicks are they? I saw "silkie" and "frizzle" by the girls' names. And, I have never seen one with blue on the head, like John Boy. Please teach me about them?

:) John Boy has the blue on his head because that is how they mark the roosters so they can easily tell them apart.
Frizzle= their feathers actually grow backwards!
Silkie = they are "special" looking. Like Phyllis Diller :lol:

I have chickens too and DH rebuilt a building just for them. We have it all fenced in by they get our everyday to free range. They are all pets too. They come a runnin' when called. I love my "girls"..and my one rooster, "Chico".
He takes care of the girls and my husbands tractor, but THAT is another story....lol...
You Chicks are just so cute. Don't you just love the little ones... :-)
