Hmmm... the first one seems to "isolate" the blocks from the border. The second one ties the whole together. But I think a thin green border outside the cream border would be perfect. Just sayin'. ;-)
Looking at this again, I think the cream border is a bit too wide. If it were the same size as the green, it would look better.

Actually, the two inner border choices are the same size...I just laid the creme over the green...so the creme doesn't have the seam allowance, while the green does. The outer border will be about two inches thinner, I think I always cut it wider, just in case.
