I find it very calming and relaxing.
The starch will wash out and the quilt will be softer.

Hello all of you Dresden lovers!!! I will be opening up a Dresden Plate swap soon....It is a dual swap - can do both sets or just one of your choice. What has been posted here is beautiful!!! not boring at all.

I think it is lovely, but if yoiu feel it is boring because of the muted colors, why not blanket stitch around them to add contrast and interest before you quilt?

I like your quilt top very pretty. Just received my dresden ruler from Missouri Star Quilt Company, was $1.88 - deal of the day. I'm anxious to start.

I love your Dresden Quilt top. You did a wonderful job on it! I really love the colors...they are calm and relaxing.....perfect for snuggling under.

Congrats on finishing it...post another pic when it is quilted.

She is right, you will like it more as time goes on. We are our worst critics. To me, it looks so pretty. There are a lot of things you aren't suppose to do according to the quilt police, but they haven't shown up to take me away yet.
