Thanks everyone. The runner is for friends of ours. I wish I would've used a wider border as the blue border fabric is sooo pretty. I only wish my FMQ was better--notice no close up shots of it!!

I love the idea of the small squares to represent each year of marriage and you have also chosen the appropriate colour - gold. Very clever. I will have to remember that for future anniversaries.

Using the gold with a Christmas metallic makes this a Holiday runner to be used year after year. I didn't show the back side which is this Teresa Kogut fabric. You PC riders will recognize--and yes the happy couple are still farming full time.
