Thank you Vmaniqui, yes it's a true Centennial with the golden seal. I discovered it when arrived home and surfing the web found it! serial# AJ806160 dated august 22, 1950

I think you did too, if you don't want it I will take it, lol......most people pay way more than that for one. It depends on how bad you want one, I payed less than a $100.00 for mine but most are way more expensive around here, like $350.00 or more.

You did get a wonderful little machine. I love to sew on mine and I bought it from E-bay and paid $350.00--so I think for you to get a centennial model at the price you did-even if you have to buy bobbins and case - you still got a very good deal-enjoy it and welcome to the Featherweight Club!
