    I also thought it would be hard. I have had that template and the little bamboo stick for years. I finally gave it a try and it is quite easy but very time consuming.

    Very pretty! I love the way you coordinated the centers and the cornerstones. And the sashing adds interest.

    I am thinking about hand quilting it. I will quilt something in the center of the plate and the blue squares. The sashing I will quilt in the ditch and I will do the same with the plates only extending the lines out into the white fabric.
