Beautiful work and an excellent idea! My elderly parents do something similar for the same reasons.

Very nice! We tossed our big tree out. It was old. I have been enjoying the cheapo fiber optic trees that sit on our tables. I love the lights and no more spending the day putting up the tree and later putting it away. I do love a floor tree but it is just the two of us and we can "visit" trees! Remember Mom slowly transitioning to any easier decorating mode over the years. It is still festive without the stress.

Beautiful! I understand how hard it is to get all that decorating done! I've switched to a little 4 foot tree on an end table. but I love your idea and your tree! Can't wait to see how you decorate it!
