Thank you. The main fabrics she chose were the burgundy & the border. We only got 1 yd. of each of the 6 she chose & that's what I had trouble with. They went together but after picking this pattern I got 12-15 more pieces which made it more scrappy than anything I have done before. In stead of doing the snowball corners the pattern called for, I appliqued them on which worked very well.
My SIL is doing fairly well. She starts 6-7 wks of radiation on Monday which is why I wanted her to have this now. She will be working 7-2 then driving 1 1/2 hrs to do the radiation & then home. Please keep her in your thoughts & prayers
that she will make it through this too. Thank you.

My SIL asked me to make a quilt for her. We picked out 6 fabrics before she had her mastectomy 7 she left the pattern choice up to me. I finally chose this pattern by Ms. Star, Diamond Rail Fence, & realized I'd need quite a few more fabrics. I did show her a pic of what it might look like but she had no idea of the final colors I picked so I was a little unsure of what she would think. I brought the quilt to her on Fri. while she had a break & got a call last night that she loved it! I have called it Stained Glass Diamonds.
