I would stick with black, but it depends on what "pattern" you are planning to do! Pretty quilt!

Great quilt. I would probably pick a bright variegated thread that has many of the colors in the quilt, with maybe black in the bobbin. I'm weird in that I like using variegated thread when quilting.

if you are wanting the quilting to pop, then I would suggest a gold color. If you want it to blend in then maybe a grayish color. I would say go with a gold color but that is just me.
