It is not Orange peel, at least in my experience. Life was simpler when people did not give their own names to quilt blocks,even if they made minute changes. Barbara Brackman tried to corral the many blocks floating around, but there are simply too many to keep block names straight.

I did see one today done like that , with the circles. Joseph's coat it was called.

No my mother was NOT a quilter and neither was her mom. It's either from my great or great grandmas or my stepdad's side of the family...unless my older brother or sister know it will stay a mystery this side of heaven!
