    I like it! My friend had an unpleasant experience with her string quilt. She is ft oung it "quilt as you go" and the blocks aren't lining up. I like your method much better.

    Wonderful finish...I love the colors and fabric you chose, they compliment each other perfectly to make it a happy quilt.

    Really striking. I love red and I know how much sewing goes into making string quilts. Love how you did the back.

    Very pretty string quilt. I like the pops of purple. I think I am most taken with your use of the stripes in the squares. They add great interest to me. I am glad you are going to keep it.

    Your string quilt turned out great. They do tend to be a bit ( tedious) and seem to always be a pain to quilt — all those dog gone seams— but they use up a lot of scraps and are always really �� when finished. It does take a long time to make one, but worth every minute. I have found with quilting it is best to do the least amount necessary for the batting chosen and stick with straight lines.
