    Every thing is hand stiched except the binding. I did that on the machine as I wanted to get it done.

    Holy Toledo, what a great pattern!!! Yeah Tim!! and hand quilted???? oh, you are a patient woman!!! PS never feel guilty about using the machine to sew on the binding!!! NO BODY cares or thinks less of your hand work.

    As I had a resent surgery and was bed ridden so I started a hand pieced quilt. I keep at it while my husband watches TV. Almost out of pieces to stitch. It is really fast and I am getting good at uniform stiches. If I do anything for a long time I guess by default I become better.

    How did you begin hand piecing? I found a floor model quilt frame for hand quilting and was going to make a sleeve to put on the rollers to attach to the tops. Do use use a floor frame?
