    You are obviously a lot younger than me. My knees couldn't take that. Have you tried your kitchen counters? They're usually at a good height.

    What about putting a board on your ironing table,your mat on top of that and use that as a cutting area ?

    LMAO... I never thought of the kitchen counter! Thank you guys for mentioning that... I will definitely start cutting there until I get a table. :-D

    thank you! But, I sure dont have strong knees, not anymore!! That's why I said to be careful of the joints. Right now I am putting off decisions to have knee replacement, hip replacement, and major back surgery . I can hardly walk because of spinal stenosis that has caused numbness from the knee down on one leg ,and both feet. And it hurts. Not complaining, although it sure gets old, at least I can still walk, just slow and waddle like the Happy Penguim!!

    OUCH! Just THINKING about that makes my knees ache! - and how would I get UP from the floor after flopping down? ahhhhh to be young again, and having the body work like it use to......
