No worries..we'll just say it's a modern block and that's that! Thank you Joan!
Janice....I found a block that looked perfect for your fabric....After I made it and cut it the way the instructions said it was impossible to sew the way the instructions said . I really think they put the instructions in wrong...anyhow..it was called wirly gig but I now call it NEVER AGAIN!! LOL...Its not terrible and its definately 12.5 square...just no pattern to it and all I had left of your fabric was a 2" x 11" piece...Ill NEVER make another block without testing it on my fabric first....Ugh...sorry

Ok Ladies last one I really do have to get my crap done or Mr Bill is going to have a flipping melt down hahaha
This is for Quilter Momma it's called Radio Windmill from Jinny Beyer free blocks this is the first time I have worked with that kind on angles it was interesting and I probably did it the hardest possible way with paper template and just a picture of the placement no step by step directions. while I don't always need the directions I wouls like to know if there was an easier process.
Whatever I'm pleased with it and quilter Momma I starched the snot out of it because all of the outside edges are on the bias

I was trying to quote Anna's comment about her daughter saying her block was to "Christmassy", I found it funny b/c my husband has said "well that is kinda plain for you isn't it" when I was showing him some pics of blocks I planned on making. That was one of the reasons I put the "bitty" block in the center of the "arrows" block.
