Me too - except I assuage the guilt of buying new blades by using the sharpener which works for about 3 yards of fabric before clutching

I am guilty. Sometimes I just don't think about it. Then one day when I just keep struggling the light comes on. Duh, change the blade. It does make a world of difference.

I am bad about changing my blades and also machine needles. I do like the new ones soooo much better. I'm trying to get into a better routine about changing them.

I do the same thing. I even changed to the other side, same blade, twice. I had 2 pkgs. from Harbor Freight, so I have no excuse.LOL

I do the same thing. I can't remember when I changed mine last. But, it's still cutting and not skipping so it stays...

Maybe if they didn't cost so much, we would change them more. You would think they are gold plated LOL
