That is spectacular--must have taken many hours to make it but so worthwhile in the end. A beautiful job

Thanks to each of you for the congrats. I am very proud of it. As for the questions asked...hope I remember them all...First of all, it's a purchased pattern (or group of patterns). named " Woodland Creatures" by Quilts by Rosemary. I found it a number of years ago ini Galveston at Quilts by the Bay (they were destroyed when Katrina came thru). How long did it take? Well, I started it in 04 or 05 and had the initial 9 blocks done in about a month and a half,as I was working everyday and didn't get a chance to work on it as I would have liked to. Then we had some things come up and I didn't get back to it. Finally packed it up in a clear plastic box and set it on a shelf. Then we moved in07 and bought an old house (1902) and had a lot of redoing (like a total redo) on the inside and that took about 3 1/2 years. I got it back out in April and finished the top in about another month. It was too big for me to quilt on my machine, so I sent it to my fav quilter in Shreveport and she had it about a month. It took me about two days to get the binding all done. I did it all by machine and all the applique' is satin stitching, including the toenails(claws), feelers, antenea, eyes, embellishments, legs details, spiderweb and etc. I really enjoyed making it and had the most fun picking juust the perfect fabrics for every aspect of it.
My delima now is.....what do I do next to top this? LOL,LOL My friend and guild members want to know this too! LOL
