    that is such a great idea! maybe you could sell them for a bit of stash-building funds... I also noticed your floor covering! Made me smile. :-) And love the blue walls/white woodwork/built-ins.

    Wow...thank you, guys and gals! I'd thought about making a second one for this chair, so I'll do a tutorial as I make it. Just give me a week or so!!

    And thanks for your comments about the room and colors. We live in a 1909 vintage house that we've (mostly) restored...with lots of color and lots of built-ins. The china cabinet in the picture is original to the house. Someone commented on the floor covering...it's a rug I found at a charity sale years ago...actually it's a 12' square of carpet that was bound on the edges. Very colorful.

    So...I'll get to working on that tute!

    I have So got to make this..I told DH it needs to be recovered, but our Only shop closed this past summer...your idea is cool as it can be removed and washed! yay!

    I have a recliner in need of a fix and yours is beautiful. Will you tell how you made it? Would really like a new cover on ours.
