Quilted USMC Ornaments
#37
Thanks everyone for your kind remarks. To the members who asked about the pattern I really had none. What I did was go on utube and did a search for how to make folded christmas ornaments. I viewed a few and went to work.I got the USMC fabric from Walmart (they also have it at joann). Used a round lids from a container to trace around the USMC logo . from there a made the folded triangles . Its hit and miss and to be honest took along time. BUT worth the wprk.
It takes about 250 pins for each ornament. you use syrofoam.balls.
I had sorta directions and will share them as soon as I find where I put them LOL!! my quilt room right now is a mess and plan to clean it up tomorrow. At least thats my plan. I will try and write directions and will be glad to share with anyone interested. Just send me a PM and I will share when I write something up. But be sure to do the utube search thats what really help me. Please include your email address so i can send you the directions.

Great ornaments. I love the folded star ornaments. I made some one time with a picture of a man who passed away and the University of Alabama logo on the other side. They were given to the man's children for Christmas.
