I am using felted wool - which is already washed wool - it will be a wall hanging and I doubt you would ever wash it but it should wash fine by hand in cold water if necessary

I've never done wool applique but after looking back at all of your blocks, I bit the bullet and ordered the pattern. Your work is spectacular!

I have this pattern & after seeing yours I am inspired to start. I read thru the directions & have a couple of questions. It says to staple the pieces to the background. Did you do that - was the staple easy to remove & did it leave any marks. Also, the pattern says to whipstitch the pieces to the background using one strand of matching floss & then blanket stitch with a contrasting color. This seems like a lot of extra work. I have minimal experience with wool. Can you use a fusible on wool? Also, do I prewash the wool? Thanks in advance for helping me out.
