Isn't that how one builds a stash? By buying fabric we love with no idea what we are going to do with it? That is certainly how I do it, especially if it's a great bargain. I just can't pass it up.

Does any one else ever do anything on the spur, just because you think the fab. if pretty with not idea of what you will make later? I have had a bad habit of doing this for years and not just for quilting either. I did this when I was just making garments, and still have some, that I have since used in quilting. So I at least found a use for some of it.

Tippy thanks a lot. This was absolutely great to follow. You made it so clear. I have some beautiful fabrics with different things on them and never knew how to use them so now I am away to try my fussy cutting.

I have admired that big panel in the local quilting store for months now & didn't have a clue what to do with it
It is absolutely beautiful & I can't wait to see the finished quilt Congrats it will look lovely
