I am not a purple lover either, but I must say this is an exception! love this quilt. I also like the pattern. Great work.

It is very beautiful...but I'm being bias...purple is my favorite colour. I'm sure your MIL is going to love it and cherish it. What a wonderful DIL you are to make her such a lovely quilt.
