New Quilter, And First Post here

Thank you everyone so much for all the kind words. I cant believe I came home to 5 pages of welcomes.
This truly is a great community.
To answer a few of the questions asked.
1) my wife has also only been quilting a month as well and i'm sure she will be joining the community soon.
2) When it comes to our stash we share it. We have purchased about 150 meters or different fabrics we liked over the past month from online shops. But we are finding that when it comes time to use some of them we still need to go out and buy more fabric to go with the ones we picked
3) We have an online T-shirt shop. And our employees do most of the work. So we have a lot of time to work on our hobbies. But I think I have the quilting bug a little more then the wife does.
The big problem i am having is i cant stop making them, but when i think about giving them away or selling them I get stressed out. Almost like there my kids.
Thanks again all

Welcome from the east coast of Va! I am not sure which is more addicting - the quilting itself or reading the QB. We are all enablers, have no shame when it comes to buying yet more fabric, and totally understand tender feelings towards your babies. But your pride when they are gifted to bring comfort and pleasure to someone down the line will be even greater, believe me! How great is it that you don't have to hide your fabric purchases, hee hee.

Holy smokes, you are a natural!!!! Great quilts, and I know I'll be looking for your posts from now on!
I too share the trauma of giving away my creations, as I think we all do. If there is no rush to gift them, I hang my quilts up to enjoy for a month or so first. The separation pangs aren't quite so bad then. And I clear the space to display another beauty! LOL
