    Beautiful quilt. Aren't you all lucky to have a MIL to make all of these quilts for her family. The size she is making affords the recipients to have them on a variety of bed sizes and look great. The broken star is always beautiful and the large spaces allows for beautiful quilting.

    You all can make this quilt. It is strip pieced than cut on the slant, 45 degrees if I remember right, than assembled into the larger diamonds. The only difficult part is the set in seams (and those are not that bad) and between me and my SIL she has mastered those.
