I normally like bright colors as I make charity quilts but the Easy Street quilt colors are wonderful together. It would make a great bed quilt. The green and red quilts are busy. I put several shades of red together for a backing and like you that quilt went to charity. If you ever make another trip around the world quilt, try using more white or off white or other light colors. You might like it better.

I have a 1600 quilt folded up in my sewing room that is so ugly to me I can't bring myself to finish it. I saw on Pintrest to reslice it into 2 1/2 inch strips and put a skinny strip of solid fabric between the strips. I have another quilt at the longarmers that I don't really like. It will be donated somewhere.

My BFF would love your Easy Street! That is her fave color palette. Boston, Honestly I have never seen a one color color quilt that I liked (not whole cloth) and have avoided going down that road-I'm sure there are some nice ones out there, but I guess contrast appeals to me. That's the downside of quilting-those "wow, this looked so different in my head" projects--and we've all got them!
