That is pretty enough to be a quilt by itself. I wish I had your talent.

I agree with every one. That is so pretty it should be the front of a quilt.

Wonderful and varied. Too nice to use as a backing.

what a fantastic use of scraps... your color arrangement and multiple blocks are beautiful. What a fun piece.

WOW! Can't imagine it being a backing and not the front, but it's your show. Very nice combos of patterns and colors. Just beautiful!

Surely you didn't use every last orphan. If you have a few left that don't "go together", find a piece for the back that is long enough but not wide enough. Fold it on the diagonal from upper left corner to lower right corner. Cut off the fold at about 1/16 inch or less; just enough to get it into two pieces. Spread these wide apart enough to cover the edges of the quilt. Make a column down that diagonal of orphan blocks, funny looking pieces, fill ins, and whatever else you have. Get rid of a lot of stuff you don't know what to do with. The top of this column is a large square. Lay it onto the quilt and cut it off where it hangs over the end. Put that piece on the bottom.

That's too pretty to be the backing for another quilt. Hope you'll change your mind.

I agree with the majority............too pretty for a backing. It reminds me of the row-by-rows that are popular now and I love. I also agree with Tartan, mine don't play well together as I use all kinds of different lines. Yours look like they were made to go together! Simply wonderful, happy and cheerful start to the new year.
