I like the darker fabric you chose better. Otherwise it's a gorgeous top!! Love it!

It might be a moot point if I can't find a fabric to replace one of the squares with. I looked at JoAnn's this morning and I've been looking online, but nothing 'moved' me yet. I'll think on it some more!

I was looking at the white until you said it was a light aqua. I started picturing it in that color and think it would look great as is.

I like it, too! Nothing at all wrong with this quilt....though I do understand -- and have experienced -- that feeling of dissatisfaction with what you've done.

My advice is to leave it as is, finish it, and then start another one. You can make another in the time it takes to unpick what you've sewn.

For me, the pink is great. The row that stops my eye is the white and that's the one I would change if any. It does contain the same colors as before and after it, but in minute amounts and the white overwhelms.

I too, absolutely LOVE your bird fabric!!

I like it as it is. I particularly like the way the colors flow from one row to another. No way would I rip anything.!

I like the colors in the quilt. The new pink is too bold. Basic the same shade.
maybe it is just the placement. If your intent on ripping out ...
Why not move the birds in one row. this will even out the cream in the center.
Pink out after the blue circles.

Finished is better than perfect has helped me in these cases. That would be a job and a half to rip out.

To see if you like the darker pink better, I'd cut out some of the squares, and place them over the squares that you are thinking about changing out. That will give you a good enough idea as to whether or this is the right fix before ripping things apart and replacing them..

You could do the same thing if there are any other rows that you are thinking about changing out.

I think if you work slow and methodical, it won't be as daunting of a task as some might think.

Good luck!!!
I'm the same. So much so my hubby teases me he thinks I enjoy taking my stitches out more than I do making things.

As I'm not good at altering, and am better at ripping out, I'll leave it to the other (wonderful) suggestions you've received.
Please post pics of however the finished quilt turns out.
Regards,
K
