I have never wanted to work with wool before but you are definitely inspiring me!

Your work is so meticulous and beautiful!

Also, the pattern says to whipstitch the pieces to the background using one strand of matching floss & then blanket stitch with a contrasting color. This seems like a lot of extra work. I have minimal experience with wool. Can you use a fusible on wool? Also, do I prewash the wool? Thanks in advance for helping me out.
I do not pre-wash felted wool (hadn't heard you should before) also, I use "Soft Fuse" and fuse all the pieces down and then blanket stitch the edges with two strands of embroidery floss - I think this works great

Your stitches are really very even but then you have been getting a lot of practice by doing all these blocks. Ha! I think my favorite so far is the birds/watermelon one that you show in this post. Two more blocks to go, yay! I have been meaning to ask (or maybe I already did and have forgotten) if you are using "wool felt" or "felted wool". There seems to be a difference and I am a bit confused by it all and wondering if they can be used interchangeably. Just bought a bunch of small cuts and a bag of felted wool from the guild table at a quilt show. Hopefully I will be able to use them. They were someone's cast offs I am sure but so cheap I could not pass them up.

How cute! I normally don't work with wool, but this series is seriously tempting me.
