LOVE the last picture of the dresser scarves, I have some and also some doilies, best put them into a quilt to enjoy them.

thank you everyone for your kind words....I`m still collecting..yard sales, thrift stores, antique stores etc......lol I`ve made a couple quilts using vintage embroidery...a lot of people get rid of them because thy are soiled...but I cut around the stain. I`ve also made one out of hankies for Charisma...thy are so much fun to do!!!!

WOW! You do beautiful work and I love all of your quilts. Reminds me of my grandmother-she used a lot of doilies in her quilts and had a lot on dressers in her home. Thank you for sharing such wonderful work.

At the Madison Quilt Expo earlier this month, a presenter told us about putting doilies on quilts. She showed us some sticky stuff to use for that. I went to her booth and bought some of it later. It is called Appli-Web Plus. Sheer Softness. But I don't understand what would happen to it if I used it for doilies or tatting. These have lots of "holes" and what happens in those holes with the web. The detailed directions inside say nothing about using it for doilies. Do you ever "Paste" yours down?
