almost forgot I have this:
How about using the batting scraps for small craft projects...batting for
doll quilts, potholders, banners, rag quilt, etc. Also, if you have a child
or grandchild, niece or nephew...they may enjoy making a pillow and using the
batting for stuffing.

Coasters....small appliqued landscapes......minatures......bookmarks.....tea cozies.....place mats......table runners.......paint the batting and collage to another quilt (gasp!!!!! Is that the start of an art quilt I see?).........ATC's (artist trading cards).......Inchies........little tiny purses.......regular sized purses......tote bags for all your other stuff........and on......and on.......and on.......The uses are only limited by your imagination....
..
Postcards, inchies, trapunto by machine, pillow tops, quilt-as-you-
go, raggedy flannel quilts, pot holders, practicing machine quilting,
playing with different threads, quilted purses or totes or diaper bags

Packing material in boxes.

there have been lots of ideas thrown out lately - use them in your swiffer,
as dust collectors, join them together with a zig zag for small items -
table runnners, wall hangings etc. use them for quilt as you go projects. I
have joined some of the larger pieces and used them in charity quilts. We
pay good money for our batting, we should use what we can.

use for cleaning the lint out of the clothes dryer.

Me too. I always think I'll use them for table runners, and then don't. After I while, I just get rid of them.

I can find uses for every bit of batting. The larger pieces I zig-zag together for charity and small quilts. The strips from when I have trimmed my quilts I use for tote handles etc; small squares I trim and use in coasters and tiny bits I cut up for stuffing in my Fur-baby beds, every bit used

I save anything over 4",,, put them together with strips of fusible interfacing. The narrower scraps I give to a lady who chops them up and uses them to stuff dog beds that she makes for the animal shelter.

I keep all of mine. The smaller pieces I use to set the setttings on my machine before I actually quilt my projects. Thanks for the suggestion of the batting tape. I'm going to connecting threads right now.

I have to many little projects that I use the scraps for. If not me, then Mom uses them for her projects.
