Welcome to the crew here on "board." I live in Norway and own Husqvarna machines. The link from Katesnanna is excellent. I read it long ago and saved it. I would very much encourage you to purchase the Pfaff since it is a high quality machine and regardless of which machine you buy parts and accessories will need to be shipped to you.
I don't know what the exchange rate is for the Euro and the dollar. The rate is great for me between the Norwegian Kr and the dollar so I purchase my fabric and accessories over the Internet because even with postage it's more economical for me than shopping in Norway. If you have friends in the states having something delivered to them may be good for you since shipping in the USA is free if you spend enough.
