I love your colors. My daughter wants me to make her a quilt out of purples and I thought of this pattern, even before I saw your picture. Is it really confusing. I have never made anything I had to put "on point" and wonder if I should try an easier pattern first.

My design wall is not fastened to the wall. In fact, it leans up against my closet and I move it if I need in. It is a sheet of that insulation stuff from Home Depot....with the Pink Panther on the back....not sure what it is really called. I covered it with Warm and Natural and duck taped it on....just like I was wrapping a package...or sort of.

It works very well for me. I don't have a spare wall in my small sewing room.

Thanks for the kind words and for the pictures of Lover's Knots quilts. Both build my confidence, which I dearly need.

I have Eleanor burns book on Lover's knot... You think I would have a few quilts made by now? For some reason the cover of book didn't appeal to my color palette.. The block is close related to Log Cabin.. Maybe seing your beautiful quilt could get me motivated..

I see what you are talking about. That would be a challenge to keep everything in order.

It is beautiful. I'm not sure I'm ready for it. You did good.
