I would be lying if I didn't tell you that it was very frustrating trying to get all the corners to line up. When I finished the quilt I banned it to the closet and I haven't looked at it since. I find that sometimes if my naughty quilts stay in the closet for awhile, I like them better when their time out is over.

The third quilt is a baby girl quilt called Playful by Aneela Hoey.

After these 3 relatively easy quilts I wanted to challenge myself so I just started working on the center block of the Aviatrix Medallion quilt. I have only been quilting 5 years and this is probably the hardest block I have done. I don't usually press seams open, but I thought is was needed in this block.

You can see which quilt one of my inspectors has chosen as his favorite.

I, too, love the first one. The fabric is wonderful. The medallion is looking great.

All of them are fabulous! You picked great fabrics to mimic the intricate nature of Jason Yenter's fabrics. The colors are beautiful. Your block is excellent. Good luck with it.
