    Thank you! I quilted the maple leaf just from a drawing of a maple leaf that I used for an outline then filled in to mimic a real maple leaf. The appliqués are just a reduced image of the leaf pattern from the flag pattern, which was designed by " rdy1tk2" a member here on the forum. I free handed the quilting design inside, mimicking the drawing of a more life like maple leaf. After appliqueing the leaves on and had already started quilting, I wished I had put a few on the top half of the quilt, and came up with the idea of stitching them in red as a hint of more leaves, so it was an afterthought. So the short answer would have been, the quilted leaves were not a design I found, but my own improvisation .

    Stunning. It is obvious that a lot of care was taken in selecting the fabrics. I'm sure your son will treasure this.
