Wow! I hope your teaching a class somewhere! I would definitely take it. Where is part 1 of this?

Absolutely fabulous! I can't believe all the work in your project, and on the original mosaic!

End of Phase 2...all the topstitching is done on the tulle.
Now he is sandwiched for quilting and I will quilt the background closely in order to push the horse forward. That's the plan. We'll see how that goes.
I put white tulle on the white areas and grey tulle over the rest and am going to cut away the grey tulle after everything is done. I've done it on this small piece here.

All set for quilting. Anyone got some extra courage to get me started?

What an unbelievable piece! The horse looks so dramatic and regal. I am working on a very small mosaic piece but I have to keep walking away from it or all those small pieces will drive me crazy! And I definitely cannot sneeze, ha! As far as the courage is concerned, I guess you just need to go for it as that is the only way to get it done. And it needs to get done as it is going to be a spectacular piece when finished! Personally, I think you will do fine as you seem to have a knack for quilting. Cannot wait to see the finish.
