Thanks all for the great comments! I wish it was my studio, but its our "Sharn"... Too small for a barn, too big for a shed (can't have my cow like I always wanted), keeps all our outdoor equipment and is half potting shed for my gardens, along with wood storage.
I'm a designer and work with a number of freelance photographers. I've picked up lots of pointers about taking photographs and having good settings.

Ah, yes....picking up ideas by osmosis is a personal and rewarding way to learn. And, like us on this Board, picking up ideas from each other's craft helps a lot too. Your second photo is absolutely perfect.

It's somewhat cooler here, definitely warmer than last summer (temps in the 80's), humid of course, but that's MN for you. I'm finally back to some sewing/quilting following hip replacement surgery...
