What a cute idea!! Butterflies out of butterfly fabric would be awesome!!! You could make them all different kinds of butterflies and some of them you could make the wings dimensional and you could put beads on some...my imagination is running wild here!!!

Lucky you to live in Lancaster!! There are so many awesome quilt shops in the area, the fabric is so much cheaper and the Lancaster quilt show is fabulous!! You are living in a quilter's dream area. I loved it there and will make it back again one day.

Fish would be cute too!! There are so many different sizes and shapes of fish-it would be really fun. You could make fins and tails dimensional, stitch in fun details in the quilting. OOOHHH-lots of fun. Let us know if you do it!

    Marcia

What a wonderful quilt, I love it. I am partial to chickens though well all animals really. Thanks for posting such lovely work.
That must have been an experience to get to go to Lancaster, PA. I'll have to nip over to the US & visit all those wonderful quilt places you have.
Are you entering yours in a show?
