Ctyankee, I was a basic EMT for years before taking on the role of Paramedic. The most scary part is the fact you are in charge and not the one taking the orders. We do get some help from MedCom but if I screw up and person can die. Not a fun feeling. It requires knowing your stuff and being able to work under tons of pressure at times. But it can be so fulfilling at the same time.

Does the hole have a nice fire? I am working on some snowflakes before the snow hits tonight. Last estimates was 8 to 12 inches of the heavy stuff!! I have a bottle of brandy I'm sipping on if any one wants any. Now to make a few more snowflakes then off to the post office.

No yo-yos are not bad!

I just don't want to be considered as a "one trick swapper" I made
yo-yo ornys last year that is all I meant.

It was about 70's degrees here today. Tomorrow it will start off in
the 50's and by 5pm will be in the 20s.

Wednesday is the day I am not looking forward too. Our HIGH is
only supposed to be about 18 degrees (YES I said EIGHTEEN).

I am not ready for it to get that cold this early. But heck who am I
kidding that is the nature of this state.

Dedemac, I feel your pain with the snow. We get a ton every year. Hoping it holds off this year or at least just a little here and there but you know how it goes. There are calling for some before long. Today was beautiful outside though. Would love it like this all winter. Wishful thinking. Good luck with your snow days.

Ornaments are done, I just need to figure out some extras. I may not mail until Thursday due to not wanting to go anywhere when I get done with work. We have 2" of snow and it's still coming down...

Don't think you would be considered that, different partner's...I don't have one yet Mine is something that I have made in the past but my partner's this year don't have them.
It's 10 deg. here, the ground is white, it's still snowing and the wind is howling. Hubby just got to work and said the roads are snowed packed and very icy. Guess I'll be home for the day, maybe some beef vegetable soup simmering all day to warm the bones tonight.
