When we had chickens on a farm in Indiana when I was a teenager, one of the roosters attacked my 3 year old sister! They can be quite dangerous, so we ate him - beautifully roasted, but she got attacked again, so we ate that one too...and finally ate a third one too, before she was left alone. It was funny to see her waving one of the drumsticks in triumph....perhaps we were raising a baby throwback to a viking maiden?
