Mine is truly a mug rug but I think it can be a small wall hanging. Very 3D as in example!!

Well that's not very fair. How do I steal everyone else's ideas???

Finished mine...in fact I did two...I liked the first one so much I did another to keep one...I'm now putting the binding on and it will be ready to go when name is rec'd...
This was a great idea because it got everyone thinking
"who am I" and how to translate that to fabric...

So THIS swap is a bit different in that instead of sending our swap partner something we think they would like, we are sending them something that represents us (and vice versa)? Right? Still trying to get a handle on this swap thang.

Clearly a newbie...

p.s. and at some point you tell us who our swap partner is?
Correct...Then on the 15th the coordinator will Private Message each one of us with the name of our swap partners...You then send a PM to that person for their name and address. Mail out by the end of the mth to that person and vice versa...When you rec your partners mug rug you then post a photo of what you rec'd and each of us do the same so we can all enjoy the finished products...This is my second Mug Rug swap so I think I'm right...

Let's remember to send thank you treats to our hostess.
How about coasters?! PM me for her address. (More fun!)

Here is what I have so far. I too, decided to make 2 of them, so I can keep one. I do not have the rows sewn together yet. See if you can guess what some of the fabrics represent.

Oh, I had some of the fabric pictures upside down. LOL I guess I am a little scatter brained, but that is not in the mug rug!

Hope your husband feels better. On a lighter note, since you admit that we may be kindred sisters, and you are trying to steal someone else's ideas, why don't we set a specific time to send brain thoughts across the earth and maybe you can pick my brain and osmosis will occur....... and then you will pick up and have some of my ideas. What do you think?

:P
