The varigated stripe has all the colors in it that are in the pillowcase. Bought all three pieces of the fabric at Hancocks a week ago here in NC. The flower print is of a wonderful quality.

Yes I did or the tube method as I call it completing them with french seams.

There are tutorials on here as to how to make them. What I do is cut a piece of fabric that is 26"L & 41"W, the band is 11"W & 41"L and the accent strip is 1 1/2"W & 41"L. The accent strip you fold in half lenghwise and press and the band ends up being folded in half when doing the tube method.

Have fun making your pillowcases - I know I surely love making them and they are so quick to do. I've also done patchwork on the band and have made my own piping to use as an accent inbetween the band and the body of the pillowcase.

Now your close to my home town that being Colby, WI. I lived in WI all my life til the fall of 2007 when we moved to NC.
