Me? Never. Not. I know what you mean though, I try to get all I can and I'm the same with needles, but I'm getting better. Have fun cutting butter.

Haven't tried it but saw a picture of a rotary blade sharpener. Have you seen it? Wonder how it works! Yes, I hold on to mine, too, mainly because they're so expensive and it's 26 miles round trip to get a new one and gas is out of sight!!!

I can relate. It's taken years, but I finally picked up a nice plastic box where I put my spare rotary cutters and blades (yes I found more when I thoroughly cleaned my sewing room). Then I actually marked the box so I knew what was in it. So, there's hope. Happy July 4th.

My reason for this is that I don't realize how bad it's getting....until I change blades and then I "get" how bad it was!

This is why I started with one and now have three.....if I couldn't find it for a couple of days, I'd go get another one...and then once I couldn't find either....so now I have three. Right now I know where two are.

I am the same way, guess trying to save on blades to buy more fabric, that I don't really need.

My problem is that when I change the blade in one of my several cutters, I always get the pieces of the cutter mixed up somehow and have a hard time getting them back together! I lay them out in what I think is the correct order but somehow get it messed up. So that's why I tend to use blades longer than I should.

nope, i do too. sad but true. you'd think i'd remember how wonderfully it cut with a new blade, but it seems to disappear from my memory.

Most of us do this, trying to stretch the dollar, because these blades are expensive. The last one I brought was titanium and it has lasted longer.
