I would say the squares probably measured in the 15-17" range each. I quilted it on a HandiQuilter at my local quilt shop and just meandered around it. I used a cut up bedskirt that I found at Goodwill for $2.00 for the whole thing. which made it heavy, according to the lady in the quilt shop.

Thank you, but I didn't use a pattern. I just cut the foundation, laid the longest strip in the middle and added to each side until I had a big enough block, cut it in the square and that was it. It's fun to see the different lengths of strips before it is squared up and what a mess it seems, then to see it all squared up and really taking form. It's not something I ever thought I would do, much less like. Once I made potholders this way, I was hooked.
