    I love the subtle cream print. Hard to know how much of that to buy when you are starting a scrap quilt. Of course, the other fabric amounts don't matter. It sure is a beauty.

    Oh, this is so beautiful! I have the same book (love it) and have the hour glass and nine patches all done. I have been procrastinating on the applique border for 17 years. After seeing your lovely quilt, I must get going! I too had to buy more scraps to get the look. This has started a 17-year obsession with collecting remnants and scraps. Bonnie Hunter has been an answer to my prayers!
