    So beautiful. Both the quilt top and the quilting. What batting are you using to get the definition on the curves?

    Hobbs Polydown is the batting but what makes it stand out in relief like that is mashing down the background with denser quilting. In this case it is the fronds of the feathers. The thread build up of making the feathers helps give definition too.
