    Now I'm wondering whether this would translate into something doable if one just sewed random scrap strips together, keeping lights and darks separate... then cut the paired strips into 2.5" lengths. Or even, a little bigger if your pairs of strips were wider than 1.5". I'm going to be up tonight thinking this out lol.

    There's no reason why this wouldn't work. (The pairs I'm sewing are off cuts from 2 1/2" strips, that I've sorted as I trimmed)

    At first I was only mildly impressed with the block, but when I scrolled down to view the entire quilt......! Love both of them! Can you tell me the name of the pattern?
